Let me start off by saying how much I love movies. It doesn’t matter if they are from the 1950′s or from this year, I somehow find an interest in all types. If you were to see my DVD collection, you would probably think I’m crazy. In addition to usually watching one DVD day (yes I told you I’m crazy), Saturday night is designated as “go to the movie night”. I started obsession with movies back in college, and it wasn’t until my junior year that I realized how much money I was spending. It was at that point that my friend told me about the website she was using to save money on the movies she buys and sees in theaters. She told me that Fandago offers discounts for certain things such as movie tickets. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to buy the discounted tickets. All I had to do was go to the Fandango part of the Frugaldad website. I was so happy when I saw the coupon code at the time for 20% off $25.00 in movie tickets. I guess I can say the website gave me a reason to not stop making movies such a large part of my life.

In addition to purchasing movie tickets from Fandango, there are other good things about the website as well. One thing you can do is search movies, and find out more about them. There are some movies that are either out in theaters or ones that are coming out soon, which I don’t know a whole lot about. Luckily I can use Fandango to not only get a summary of the movie, but to actually see the trailer. I love how Fandango simply saved me time. I can find out what the movie is about and then easily see what theaters and times the movie will be playing at. It’s like a bunch of websites in one, which can make any movie goers lives a little bit easier.

In addition to using Fandango to find out more about and buy tickets for movies in the theater, I’m also able to buy DVD’s. If I see a movie I’m interested in, I can easily either buy the DVD or add it to my Netflix queue. And once again, this is a very easy tasks which takes minimal time.

I love how I can buy tickets, watch trailers, and even find out showtimes even if I’m not by a computer. Fandango makes it accessible for customers to be able to do this on their phones, which only adds to the convenience of their services.

Guest post from: Bruno Smith

I agreed to participate in a research study that my sister was recruiting participants for as a class project. In her psychology class she had to find forty five participants and give them an on-line survey about their eating habits. Usually, it is not good for researchers to have people participate that they have close relationships with, but because it was a class, my participation was fine. They e-mailed me a link to the survey which was only supposed to take fifteen to twenty minutes. I pulled up the survey using my Broomfield clear wire connection at home and started it at three o’clock. By the time that I looked up and was finished with the survey it was four o’clock. I couldn’t believe it! Either I was extremely slow at filling out a survey or my sister hadn’t told the truth about how long it was going to take on-line. I think that it was probably the later. That is the last time that I fill out a survey without knowing exactly how long it is going to take me to complete. I even missed yoga!

They way it works is very easy, and their main goal is for you to get the most traffic to your your website. When someone visits your website, this is considered a click. You will then get paid per click, which provides you with a decent amount of money from something so simple. This is also the website to visit if you are an advertiser.

When you visit the home page, you will see two sections of the site. You can either click the advertiser page or publisher page, depending on which you are interested in.

There are advantages for both the advertiser and publisher. Advertisers are able to see actually how efficient their work is coming along. They can also choose which keywords they would like to be used, in order to create the most effective results.

For the publisher, a system is used so only the right kind of traffic is brought to them. You also have the advantage of receiving 5% of the profit,if you get someone to use Bizzclick.

In addition to all of these advantages, there is a live chat that’s very efficient with their help . This is easily found and used on the website

It will be interesting to see the outcome of this one. It seems that although the likelihood of a Republican win is high, no one wants to step up to the plate just yet. Indeed there are candidates – but what about people like Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey? His approval rating is high, and he’s been doing shows like Oprah and making other public appearances.

Of the candidates who are running for office, it seems as if each has a political agenda to make him stand out from the crowd. For example, Tom Miller has been pushing enforcement of the Iowa Consumer Fraud Act as part of his platform. He’s been going after online merchants – and winning. Other candidates include of course the controversial Rick Santorum and several others. In order of popularity, Mitt Romney, Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman are among those who look like the most popular in the New Hampshire primary. Where does this lead? Stay tuned…

Having a home is a really big responsibility but having a second one just about put me over the edge. I guess I wasn’t thinking when I bought this place how much work it would be to juggle all the moving parts but between the renovations and the insurance and the Wireless Home Security it’s been like having a second job. I love being a stay at home mom but I guess I got a bit ahead of myself and my husband listened when I told him I wanted to make a move here. There’s something to be said for not jumping before you’re ready but for me, that didn’t really register until AFTER I bought the house. I know that when it’s done we’ll make some real money off of the place but for now I really wish I didn’t have so much on my plate at the moment. I’m just going to have to grin and bear it, though, because I’m the one who pushed for this and at the end of the day it was my call.

With GOP Presidential debates in full swing, it’s important to learn which candidates are waxing politic, and which actually practice what they preach. When it comes to charity, voters are curious to learn if candidates can put their money where their mouths are.

Michelle Bachman has reminded viewers in each debate thus far about her charitable good deeds. Say it with me: “I’ve got 5 kids and twenty three foster kids.” If you’ve tuned in at all, you’ve heard her shamelessly plug her parenting abilities. Apart from this feat, does she donate to charitable causes? The answer is yes. Bachman has been known to donate to various charities, all which share her conservative religious outlook.

What about the other Tea Partiers? Rick Perry has been getting his fair share of media attention (both positive and negative) for claiming to do things he just hasn’t done. Charity is no exception. Perry has donated very little money to any charitable foundations in the recent past, including those run by family members or friends. Ouch. The native Texan might want to work on that if he hopes to improve his future in the polls.

Ron Paul is known for being both the Libertarian nominee, and a Constitutionalist Tea Party member. Before running for office, Paul worked for many years as an OBGYN. As a doctor, he refused to accept Medicaid and Medicare payments, but decreased his costs so that women could afford to pay out of pocket. In short, Paul practices what he preaches, even if no one else would.

Both Herman Cain and Mitt Romney found success in business before choosing to pursue careers in politics. Although they’ve both recently donated more money to campaign trails and political causes, they are both known for being generous with their charitable donations. John Huntsman, the former Utah governor has a very strong record of giving back. He frequently donates both his time and money to causes and individuals in Utah.

In a past life, Newt Gingrich pushed for charitable donations to replace welfare programs. However, past and present, Gingrich doesn’t always walk the walk when it comes to the “good cause.”

In true Anderson Cooper form, “keeping them honest” is part of learning the truth about who you want as the next Republican candidate for President of the United States. If you want your Presidential nominee to give back, think twice before voting for some of these candidates.

Thanks for the post from Al Mills

Mad Men has got to be my favorite show and I think it’s because I studied advertising in college. I love NYC, too, so I really just feel like I relate to everything that’s going on in that program. It’s been off the air now for what feels like forever although I read online that it’s going to be back on my directtv sometime early next year. I don’t know what I will do once they take it off the air for good! My Halloween costume this year is actually an homage to Chirstina Hendricks – she’s so pretty and she dresses so voluptuously I just couldn’t help it. I found a satin dress at Goodwill and I’m going to dye my hair red – I’m going to have to stuff something down in it though to make me look as well endowed as she is! I don’t think there are many people out there who are as well endowed as she is, though, so I don’t feel too bad. Mad Men, hurry up and come back!

Let’s face it, when you get down to it, politics is a dirty business. There are a lot of rules to follow, many to bend and a few to break if you want to get ahead. Some might consider it a dirtier job than cleaning toilets. But, the secret is finesse. Where you might wear raggedy old clothes when you clean your toilet, I picture a politician wearing one of these: http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/Original-Scrubs/

Why scrubs? Well, think of a good politician much like a doctor. He (or she) has to craft a plan with the precision of a surgeon. Next that plan needs to be executed and that’s where the fun begins. No one knows what the result will be of those actions until they’re in process. The goal of course is to keep all of that grime as far away from oneself as possible. And when everything is done, when the goal is achieved, it’s time to scrub down and wash your hands of it.

Of course, politicians come in many shapes and sizes. Some are polished – sharp-looking, smooth talkers. They might wear all-cotton scrubs. Others are what you might call “cheap politicians.” As you might have guessed, they’d probably wear something along the lines of cheap Dickies scrubs. Whatever the case, a scrub is a scrub is a scrub.

Thanks for the post from Sylvester Campbell

My husband spends literally all Saturdays sometimes watching marathons of that gross show on our direct.TV called Man vs. Food or something like that and I just want to puke. I mean, how can anyone enjoy watching another human being eat like that? The host Adam seems nice enough and I understand his appeal but I just don’t get it. And then when the episode goes off my husband asks me to go to the store and buy him some huge piece of meat so he can have a little challenge at home! I always tell him no because it’s definitely not healthy to eat like that plus I can’t imagine him doing anything that possibly grosses me out more. I shudder every time they say “meat sweats” on that show and I particularly hate when he eats something really spicy that makes him perspire and his nose run. I feel like only in America would they feature a show bragging about how much a human can eat at one time and in one sitting!

Somebody really needs to call the fashion police on this one. I must say that it is a good thing that the Williams sisters are such good tennis pros, and have made it as far as they have without a kink. If they were even a hair less talented than they are, my guess is that the stuffy politics of the sport of tennis would have them booted off of the courts on sheer sight.
